Ratio word problems

- Rob has 4 CDs for every 1 that Jo has. Rob has 12 CDs. How many does Jo have? (First of all write the ratio and then write the number of CDs that Jo has).
- Dev makes soup using 3 mushrooms for every 2 tomatoes. He uses 15 mushrooms. How many tomatoes does he use? (First of all write the ratio and then write the number of tomatoes that he uses).
- It takes 8 oranges to make one litre of orange juice. How many oranges will it take to make four litre of orange juice? (First of all write the ratio and then write the number of oranges that are needed?)
- In a box of six eggs, there are 2 brown eggs and 4 white eggs. How many white eggs will there be altogether if I have 3 boxes of eggs? (First of all write the ratio and then write the number of white eggs).
- It takes 8 apples and 24 blackberries to make two apple and blackberry pies. What is the ratio of apples to blackberries in one pie?
- In ‘Chocowasp’ chocolate boxes, 1 in every 4 chocolates is a wasp cream. Tony buys a box of 20 chocolates. How many wasp creams will he get? (First of all write the ratio and then write the number of wasp creams).
- Helen is making an orange drink. She mixes 4 parts water to 1 part squash. Helen wants to make 500ml of orange drink. How much squash does she need? (First of all write the ratio and then write the amount of squash).

Every 100g of brown bread contains 6g of fibre. A loaf of bread weighs 800g and has 20 equal slices. How much fibre is there in one slice?
